1. Name the bag in the subject

The draft says “You left something behind.” That could be any item. The new line says “Maya, your blue Everyday Tote is still in your cart.” It names her bag and why you wrote.

Use the item the shopper picked. Check that the name is right.

2. Show the bag she picked

Maya picked one bag. Show that bag, its color and its price. Here, that is one blue Everyday Tote for $48. She can check her pick at a glance.

Keep the photo and the words about the same item. Do not make her search through the whole store again.

3. Send the button to her cart

“Shop all bags” opens the whole store. “Back to my cart” tells Maya what the new link opens. Try the button before and after the fixes to see the change.

In your own email, add the real saved cart link. Tap it to check that the right item is still there.

Check your own draft

Use these three checks on your own email. Paste your draft into the Email Reviewer. Add a screenshot if you want help with the layout. Read each tip before you use it.

Before you send, check the name, price and cart link. Send only to people who signed up. Do not add a deal or time limit your store does not have.
